This purple lupine resin bird holds real lupines gathered and dried in the boreal forest around Cold Lake, Alberta, then poured by hand in clear resin. The blooms run through the body and carry on down the length of the tail, so the flowers follow the shape of the bird rather than sitting in one spot.

Two are available and they are not the same. One is a lighter mauve, the other a deeper plum. Choose the one you like from the drop down menu above.
