This pink lupine resin bird holds real soft pink lupines, gathered and dried at their peak in the boreal forest around Cold Lake, Alberta, then poured by hand in clear resin.

The lupine was set so the flower rises through the body and carries on up into the head, which is why this one is called Rose Crown. The bloom finishes where the bird's crown begins. Soft glitter runs through the base, catching the light underneath.

Hold it up to a window and the light comes straight through the petals.
