Living in Cold Lake, Alberta, we have long winters where we search for colour and remember the warm summer months when we had lots of colour. Having grown up in Prince George, BC we spent most of our Summer months camping, fishing and even hunting. As a child I was fascinated by the colours, smells and textures that I would find. When I am creating my Nature Art, I remember those days as I "build" a vision of the Forest, the Gardens in my Art and how they made me feel.

I spend my Spring, Summer and Fall collecting and drying the bits and pieces I find on our property. How fortunate I am to live by a Forest where I can gather to my hearts content.
