As Featured In: The Decor Days of Summer
This summer, our Sunflower Sunny Songbird caught the eye of national syndicated press — and we're still pinching ourselves.
Journalist Lindsey Ward included the piece in "The Decor Days of Summer," a roundup of five Canadian-made brands, published across Postmedia outlets including the Edmonton Journal, Ottawa Citizen, and Vancouver Sun.
She described it as capturing "the natural world" through a hand-poured pressed flower bird — "designed to hold onto that summer feeling all year round," with a preserved sunflower, green botanical accents, and a hint of gold leaf.
Every Dragonfly Treasures piece starts the same way: hours spent foraging and pressing real Boreal forest botanicals here in Cold Lake, Alberta, then hand-poured one at a time, in small batches — I can only pour a new batch once a week.
That means each bird is genuinely one-of-a-kind, shaped by whichever flowers and botanicals were on hand the day it was made. If a design you love happens to be sold out, it just means the next batch is worth waiting for.
