Qui est Dragonfly Treasures ?
If you've ever wished you could keep a perfect summer day — a sunflower in full bloom, a quiet walk through the forest, the soft weight of a tiny bird in your hand — Dragonfly Treasures was made for you.
Rooted in the Canadian Boreal Forest
Dragonfly Treasures is the work of Heidi Gantz, a resin artist based in Cold Lake, Alberta. Every piece begins not in a studio, but in the forest — with hand-foraged botanicals, real pressed flowers, and the kind of quiet attention that only comes from genuinely loving the wild.
The idea was simple: capture a Canadian summer and carry it through the long Alberta winter. That wish became a craft, and that craft became a calling.
Handmade. Every Single Piece.
Heidi's process starts long before resin is ever poured. Each botanical is foraged, dried, and prepared by hand — a slow, careful practice that preserves the structure and colour of every petal, leaf, and forest find. Tiny mushrooms, ferns and Boreal blooms— each element has its own drying timeline before it's ever set in crystal-clear epoxy.
The result is jewelry and décor that look like tiny preserved landscapes: real moments from the forest, made to last.
The Dragonfly
The name comes from a turning point in Heidi's work — the first time she set a real dragonfly in resin. Found naturally, after its life cycle had ended, it required a steady hand and deep respect. It became a symbol for everything Dragonfly Treasures stands for: brief, magical moments of wild beauty, preserved so they can be appreciated a little longer.
Years of Craft Behind Every Pour
The studio in Cold Lake still holds Heidi's earliest experiments — the failed coasters and messy pours that taught her everything about clarity, patience, and the chemistry of resin. Those pieces are a badge of honour. They're the quiet foundation of the expertise behind every piece sold today.
When you hold a piece of Dragonfly Treasures art, you're holding a captured moment of the Alberta wilderness — shaped by patience, curiosity, and a deep love for the forest.
