What makes the Crimson Heart tray unique?

The Crimson Heart is a one-of-a-kind piece featuring real, foraged red maple leaves and autumn foliage, with gold leaf scattered through clear resin. The photos show the exact tray you will receive; it cannot be remade the same way.

What are the Crimson Heart tray’s dimensions and finish?

It measures 6.5 inches long by 6 inches wide and is 0.5 inches thick. The clear resin has a smooth, high-gloss finish with a rounded edge, and the substantial half-inch pour gives the heart-shaped tray noticeable weight.

How can I use the Crimson Heart resin tray?

The product description suggests using it as a jewellery or ring tray on a dresser, a catch-all for keys by the door, or a decorative piece on a shelf or windowsill. It is also described as a gift idea for someone who has moved away from Canada, or for an autumn wedding or anniversary.

How should I care for the Crimson Heart tray?

Keep the Crimson Heart out of long periods of direct sunlight to help protect the leaf colour. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and do not use water or cleaners on the resin.

Where is the Crimson Heart tray made, and what materials does it contain?

The Crimson Heart is made in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. Its materials are real dried red maple leaves and autumn foliage, gold leaf, and clear epoxy resin; the foliage was foraged in the boreal forest around Cold Lake and dried at full colour.

I received two resin birds with blue flowers and two keychains with forget-me-not flowers, and they are absolutely beautiful! The craftsmanship is stunning — even more lovely in person. The seller was an absolute delight to deal with: helpful, professional, and kind. My items arrived quickly and were packaged with such care. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Naturally Brilliant Clarity

Premium Calgary-Made Resin

One-of-a-Kind & Gift-Ready

When you choose a Dragonfly Treasures creation, you are supporting independent Canadian art. Each piece arrives in our signature eco-friendly packaging, ready to be gifted as a one-of-a-kind tribute to the forest. It’s more than decor; it’s a lasting connection to the timeless beauty of the wild.

In Case You Were Wondering..

Yes, absolutely. We never use plastic or silk substitutes. Every piece features genuine botanicals, mosses, and forest treasures hand-foraged from the Alberta Boreal forest, ensuring you are bringing a real piece of the wild into your home.

These pieces look most magical when they catch the light! A windowsill, mantel, or bookshelf is perfect. While our resin is high-quality and UV-resistant, we recommend avoiding 24/7 direct, intense sunlight to keep the natural botanical colors vibrant for as long as possible.

Maintenance is simple. To remove dust or fingerprints and restore that crystal-clear, glass-like glow, simply wipe the surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that might dull the polished finish.

Our resin is designed to be sturdy and heat-resistant once fully cured, making it suitable for tea lights or warm mugs. However, to preserve the clarity of the piece, we recommend avoiding contact with open high-heat flames or boiling pots directly from the stove.

We use professional-grade, Calgary-made resin specifically formulated for its high UV resistance. Unlike lower-quality resins that can yellow quickly, our art-grade resin is designed to stay crystal-clear for years. To keep your piece looking its absolute best, we simply recommend keeping it away from windows with constant, intense direct sun—just as you would with a fine painting or photograph.

One of the best features of resin is its incredible durability—it is much stronger and more impact-resistant than glass or ceramic. While it should be treated with the care of any fine art, it isn’t fragile and won't shatter easily if bumped. We take great care in nesting your decor in protective, eco-friendly packaging so it arrives safely and ready to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
