A 3-Week Labor of Love
Good things take time, and your Forever Songbird is no exception. Once your cremated remains arrive safely, please allow approximately three weeks for your bird to be hand-poured, cured, and finished with care. Each layer is added slowly and intentionally, because what rests inside deserves nothing less. You will be kept updated as your bird comes to life.
In Case You Were Wondering..
Approximately two tablespoons is all that is needed for a single bird. If you are ordering a pair, please send approximately three to four tablespoons so both birds can be made with care. Any unused remains are always returned to you with your finished piece.
After your order is placed, you will receive an email from Heidi with simple, clear instructions for mailing your remains safely. A small sealed container or zip-lock bag inside a padded envelope works well. You will be given the mailing address at that time.
Forget-me-nots are the default bloom, chosen for their meaning of love and remembrance. If you would like a different flower such as pansies or lavender, note your preference in the Flower Preference field at checkout and Heidi will do her best to honour it based on what is available at the time of your order.
